1878-1903: In the Beginning

Our church was organized and the committee that brought it together as well as the very first Pastor here at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Bethlehem also purchased our pipe organ in June of 1902 that we still use to this day.

1904-1928: The Dawn of a New Era

Our present Parsonage was built and Bethlehem Lutheran Church joined the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. The church also celebrated its 50th Anniversary in 1928.

1929-1953: Coming Together: A Congregation United by God

The church basement was added, the school was moved across the road and our statue of Christ was donated to the church. The baptismal font was purchased and is still in use today. Also the Ladies Aid joined the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) and the church celebrated its 75th Anniversary.

1954-1978: A Period of Changes

Bethlehem Lutheran Church starred in a Land O' Lakes ice cream commercial, Vacation Bible School was started and various improvements were made to both the church and parsonage. The church also celebrated its 100th anniversary with guest pastors, fellowship and a centennial dinner.

1979-2001: Tragedy Strikes Bethlehem

A small tornado touched down near the church in September of 1980. Various major improvements and additions were made during this time period, including the addition of the Narthex and room behind the organ. Bethlehem experience a significant loss wit he tragic deaths of both Rev. Gary Berlinski and his wife Karen Berlinski in an automobile accident in June of 1998.

2002-Present: A Time for Celebration

The church celebrated the organ's centennial and the church's 125th Anniversary since our founding. The synod recognized our long-term vacancy pastor as a called pastor here at Bethlehem.
