Our Motto : "Serve the LORD with gladness" (Psalm 100:2)

The LWML group meets on the second Thursday of every month at 5:45 pm in the church basement. Members gather for a light supper, Bible study, Mite devotion and collection, singing/praying, and business meeting.

At every LWML meeting and various events, a Mite Offering is collected. The money put in the mite boxes are blessed by God and have a big impact on the spread of the Gospel all around the world and mission support. 75% of those contributions are sent to support the LWML Minnesota South District missions and projects, while the remaining 25% help fund the National LWML missions.

This past June, two of the members had the joy and honor of representing their group at the LWML National Convention in Omaha, Nebraska. It was a weekend filled with worship, fellowship, and mission-focused celebration; all centered around the shared goal of bringing the Gospel and love of Christ to nations around the world. Thanks to their support through mite offerings, they are a part of the greater LWML effort to help fund 33 Mission Grants selected for the 2025-2027 biennium! Those grants support ministries and mission activities across the globe. nAdditionally, they made monetary donations to the four 2025 Convention Offerings. These included contributing to the 2025-2027 mission goal of LWML; providing funds to help repair Camp Linn Haven and Mountainside Lutheran Church in Newland, North Carolina, following the catastrophic damage from Hurricane Helene; supporting Grace Point Institute for Relational Help in offering pastoral care and counseling to pastors and church workers in Lincoln, Omaha, and Columbus, Nebraska; and supporting the Lutheran Early Response Team in the Oklahoma District with disaster relief efforts throughout Oklahoma and the nation.
Throughout the year, Bethlehem's LWML focuses on supporting the children of their congregation. They supply Lenten and Advent calendars to our Sunday School families. On Rally Day in early September, to help kick off the Sunday School year, they gift the Faith Alive Bible to students entering 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. The incoming preschool students also receive their very own Bible storybook to help them become familiar with the people and stories of Scripture. They also present each catechumen with a prayer book on their Confirmation Day as a meaningful gift to support their faith journey. In August, a monetary donation to provided to help provide snacks and treats for children and volunteers attending Vacation Bible School.

Bethlehem's LWML sponsors an annual Fall Bazaar each year on the last Saturday of September. 50% of their proceeds are sent to various missions and organizations. Last year, proceeds were sent to:
1. Our Daily Bread
2. Christ Serve Ranch/Camp
3. Camp Omega

They graciously extend care and encouragement to our church members who experience the loss of a loved one by offering a financial contribution to the family, along with their prayers and heartfelt sympathy. During the Christmas season, they also share Christ's love by gifting Shut-In Baskets to the congregation's homebound members, and collect winter apparel through their "Mitten Tree" to support students in need at Maple Lake and Buffalo schools.

Bethlehem's LWML also supports the church by hosting and helping with events including Pastor’s Conference Meetings, Circuit Rallies, Zone Board Meetings, and an annual LWML Prayer Service.
A huge thank you is extended to congregation members for their generous donations as they have provided many items and funding to help Bethlehem's LWML mission work.
They invite all women, young and old, to come and visit and to participate in a shared mission of service, faith, and outreach.
